Task Title
This simulation is designed to familiarize you with the format of the Duolingo English Test. The total duration is approximately 55 minutes, and it is divided into two main parts.
The first and longest part is the Scored Section, which takes about 45 minutes. Here, you will encounter a variety of randomly ordered tasks that assess your reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities. You will see tasks like reading and completing texts, selecting real English words, writing and speaking about photos, and responding to short prompts.
The test concludes with a brief, Unscored Section. In this final part, you will provide an extended speaking sample and a writing sample. While these are not scored, they are sent to institutions along with your final results to provide a more complete picture of your English proficiency.
